About Production Machine & Tool
Serving production work since 1979.
A local tooling service founded in Corinth, Mississippi and built around practical manufacturing support.
The beginning
The original announcement still says a lot about the business.
On October 5, 1979, Travis G. Smith announced the opening of a local tooling service for the screw machine industry. The letter described tool layouts, circular form tools, cams, special reamers, tool holder bushings, and secondary machining operations.
That early focus on tooling and secondary machining developed into the broader machining, engineering, fabrication, repair, and production-support capability set the company offers today.

Still in Corinth
Local service. Responsive problem solving. A willingness to quote the work.
The company remains focused on serving production environments with tooling, machining, repair, replacement parts, workholding, prototypes, and fabrication support.
